Enable automatic exchange of PDX data via OFTP

Once set up, changes to the settings and/or certificates used for OFTP2 functions can be sent directly to the partner via OFTP.As soon as the other party confirms receipt positively with an EERP, the new settings apply. Your partner can also send you a PDX file via OFTP and this will be automatically checked on receipt and, if suitable for the preferences set in !MC5, automatically applied. In order for security-related settings to be automatically adjusted, the far end must send the PDX data signed so that it is securely identified as the sender. If the settings requested by the other party do not match the partner's own preferences or if sufficient security is not guaranteed, the PDX file is automatically rejected and the old connection settings continue to apply.

In order for PDX files received from a partner via OFTP to be processed automatically and PDX data to be sent to this partner via OFTP, the corresponding function must be activated for this partner. This is automatically the case for newly created partners as well as partners created via import from a PDX file. To activate the exchange of PDX data via OFTP with an existing partner, proceed as follows:

1 Open Partner Management and edit the partner for which you want to enable PDX support.

2 In the partner settings, open the Security page.

3 In the Partner certificates box, activate the Enable automatic certificate exchange (ACX/SCX/PDX) option.

4 Apply the changes by clicking OK. From now on, PDX data can be sent to and received from this partner via OFTP.
