Data transfer > OFTP > Partner Data eXchange (PDX)

The Partner Data Exchange (PDX) mechanism can be used both when setting up new partners and when updating changed default settings or for transferring new certificates after a certificate change. PDX is part of the official OFTP2 implementation guidelines and shall replace the "old" Automatic Certificate Exchange (ACX/SCX1.0) among others.

!MC5 supports the exchange of partner data via PDX according to the recommendations of the OFTP2 Implementation Guidelines in version 1.0 (Recommendation for OFTP2 Partner Data Exchange using XML Version 1.0).

Hereby it is possible to

•create new partners by importing a PDX file received from the partner.

•export PDX files with your own connection settings so that they can be sent to a partner.

•new certificates or changes to OFTP2 settings can be sent to partners who have already been created.

•new certificates or changes to OFTP2 settings are received from partners who have already been created.
