OFTP/ISDN general settings

Partner description

Description of the partner. This description is displayed wherever a partner must be selected.

Connection settings

ISDN number ( Host / IP )

This field contains the ISDN number or the IP address / host name under which the OFTP client of the partner can be reached.

Port

Only for OFTP/TCP or OFTP2. The port under which the partner's system can be reached. For OFTP/TCP usually 3305, for OFTP2 usually 6619.

Keep one channel free for this partner (only OFTP/ISDN, VIP system requires two or more ISDN channels).

One ISDN channel is reserved exclusively for all partners for whom this option is activated. If this option is not activated for any partner, all channels are available for free use.

ISDN incoming (OFTP/ISDN only)

The ISDN number from which the partner dials your !MC5 client. For an incoming connection from this number, the reserved ISDN channel is used. If the reservation function is not active, only the incoming number is compared with the numbers stored here. Several numbers can be entered, separated by commas.

IP whitelist (OFTP/TCP and OFTP2 only)

The IP address(es) from which the partner dials your !MC5 client. Incoming connections are only allowed from these IP addresses. Multiple IP addresses can be entered, separated by commas.

OFTP settings

SSID

Odette identifier (Odette ID, OFTP ID) of the partner. This identifier is transmitted by the partner during session setup.

SFID

The specified SFID is used as the destination ID when sending files to this partner.

Own Password

You send this password to the partner together with the Odette ID.

Partner password

This password is received from the partner together with its Odette ID.

SSID group

Here the partner can optionally be assigned to an SSID group. This is useful or even necessary if several partners use the same SSID but different SFIDs. Do not use SSID groups for simple logical grouping of partners! Grouping partners has an effect on the processing during reception as well as the sending of reception confirmations. More details about SSID groups.

Directories

Directories for incoming and outgoing files.
