Usage

In order to start the HTTP Client in your browser you will have to type the server name or its IP-address into the URL field. When a port other than 80 is used you also have to add the port, e.g. http://192.168.0.100:1234. This opens the login screen. Type in your user name and password here.

Hint:

Some browsers require the text http:// before the IP or server name, whenever a port other than 80 is used. For proper operations Javascript must be enabled.

 

HttpClient_Login

 

Once you have successfully logged in, the dashboard will be displayed. There you will find important information about your !MC5 installation, your licenced modules and the status of the transmission channels.

 

HttpClient_Dashboard

 

There is a menu bar on the left-hand side of the window which you can use to call up the various functions of the !MC5 Http client:

 

Create job - Here you can create a new send job.

Dashboard - The dashboard shows an overview of your !MC5 installation.

System messages - Displays a list of system messages concerning the user.

Job list - The current jobs and their respective status are displayed here.

EDI- Inbox - Here you will find all messages with their respective status that are in the EDI Inbox.

EDI - Outbox - Here you will find all messages with their respective status that are in the EDI Outbox.

Files -Incoming - Here you will find all files in the input directory.

Files- Outgoing - This menu item shows a list of all data in the output directory.

 

If you click on the user name or icon in the top right-hand corner, a menu will open where you can change the language, modify the display, change your password or log out.
