!MC5 can be configured to receive, send and process data in the background without user intervention. For this purpose, different rules can be created, which are all managed under Settings / Automation.
Four different types of automation rules are possible:
•Send files directly without changes.
•Import EDI data from a file, convert to another format if necessary, print and send.
•Print received EDI data, export it to a file, and convert it to another format if necessary.
•Import EDI data received externally and treat it as if it had been received directly from a partner.
